An attempt to make the best of both options, Combo Blades ? often called ?partially serrated? or ?half serrated? ? have some portion of the blade serrated with the remainder left plain. Generally, one-third to one-half of the blade closest to the handle will be serrated. This allows the user to perform precision cuts with the plain portion of the blade and sawing cuts with the serrated portion. Many tactical blade styles are Combo Blades. |
