Material - Laminated

Different layers of steels or steels and alloys sandwiched together to form the blade. An example of the benefits this process provides is the hardness and edge retention of carbon steel and the flexibility of softer stainless steels. Typically, the blade will exhibit a wavy or watery look due to the color variations in the layers. ?Damascus? steels are an example of this type of blade material.
