Material - Titanium

This material is much lighter than steel, corrosion resistant, and most important ? anti-magnetic. Although not as common as steel for blade use, titanium is useful in numerous instances where steel would cause problems. Many maintenance personnel use titanium blades when working near magnetic fields such as created by large electric motors, while the military use of titanium is obvious due to the sensitive nature of many explosives.
